How was the dinosaurs believed to become extincted? By a big meteor. 6 miles wide
what continent formed when dinosaurs dominated the planet? The super continent Pangea
What are the types of fossils? The types of fossils are the mold and cast, index fossil, carbon film, petrified fossil,and trace fossil.
What is a mold and cast fossil? The mold is the a sediment covering once living organism. The cast is the formation of the cast by minerals enter a cavity.
What is a index fossil? Fossil of a once living organism that lived on earth for a short period of time
What is a carbon film fossil? Fossil made from a thin film of carbon atoms and molecules
What is a petrified fossil? A fossil when produced by a cavity is filled in with solid matter
What is a trace Fossil? Preserved tracks of a once living organism but not the whole body itself
What are the three types of rocks? The three types of rocks are sedimentary, metamorphic, and igneous rocks.
How is sedimentary rock formed? Its formed from weathering and erosion turns to sediment then becomes compacted and deposited into a rock.
