| water vapor | A gas in the atmosphere. 1% - 4% of the atmosphere. We wouldn't have clouds, rain or snow without it. It is a greenhouse gas which helps trap the earth's heat. |
| condensation | Change of water vapor to liquid water, as when fog or dew forms. |
| saturated air | Air that contains the maximum amount of water vapor it can hold at its temperature and pressure. |
| relative humidity | Ratio of water vapor in the air compared to max amount of moisture the air can hold at that specific temperature & pressure. |
| dew point | Temperature at which water starts to condense out of a particular air mass. Changes only when the moisture content of the air changes. Higher the dew point/greater the moisture content. |
| saturation point | same as dew point |
| humidity | Amount of water vapor in the air. |
