TermDefinition
Title bar at the top of a window. displays the name of the document and program ( or the folder name if you're working in a folder)
maximize button has one square on it. when you click, it makes the window take up the entire screen.
restore button has two squares on it, it is in place of the maximize button when you have the window full size. this button will return it to its previous size before you maximized it.
scroll bar found on the side or bottom of a window and lets you see information that is currently out of view
dialogue box a special window that asks you a question, allows you to select options to perform a task, or provides information.
library pane the pane on the right that displays the contents of a drive or folder.
assignment pane where you save documents to your teachers folder to turn in assignments.
documents where you save any work that you have created
new folder button click this button to create a new folder. it is located under the address bar.
light blue the color the file or folder is highlighted when you click it once to select it.
move a file/ folder click to select a file or folder, drag to a new folder, drop into folder.
bread crumb trail the series of folders that you opened to get to the file/ folder you are currently in
false your teacher can restore a document if you accidentally delete it
true student profiles do not have a recycle bin
