Our vocabulary words for our light unit

Reflection the bouncing of light off other objects
Refraction the bending of light as it passes from one material from another
Translucent relating to an object that reflects some light, absorbs come light, and transmits some light
Transparent relating to an object that allows most of the light hitting it to pass through
Opaque not allowing light to pass through
Luminous producing light
Light Rays a straight line in which light travels from a source
Absorption when an object soaks in the something like a sponge
Medium a substance that light travels through
Color Perception how a person sees color
