These are the word we will use in our light table unit.

TermDefinition
Reflection the bouncing of light off another object.
Refraction the bending of a light as it passes from one material to another.
Translucent relating to an object reflect some light, absorbs come light,and transmit some light.
Transparent relating to an object that allows most of the light hitting it to pass through.
Opaque not allowing light to pass through.
Luminous producing light.
Light rays a straight line in which travels from a source.
Absoption when a object soaks up like a sponge.
Medium a substance that light travels through.
Color perception how a person sees colors.
