Exercise Precautions
| Joint | Precautions |
|---|---|
| Hip | Avoid over-strengthening the iliopsoas. Encourage stretching for the iliopsoas |
| Spinal Column | Avoid excessive hyper-extension. Unsupport forward flexion. Excessive rotation. More than one spinal movement at one time. Spinal movements involving momentums. |
| Knee | Avoid weight bearing with locked knee. Avoid bearing weight with knee at angle less than 90o. Ensure proper knee alignment (knee not over toes) |
| Shoulder | Avoid abduction with medial rotation (above shoulder). Muscular imbalances. Be cautious about impingement. |
