microscope | A device used by scientists to observe (see) extremely small objects or organisms. |
Cell Wall | A stiff structure that surrounds and protects a cell. Found in plants. |
Organelles | A tiny structure within a cell that performs a specific function (job) for that cell. They float in the cytoplasm of the cell. |
Skeletal System | The system that is made up of all the bones in the body. |
Bones | The organs that make up a skeleton. |
bone marrow | Spongy material inside long bones that produces blood cells. |
organ system | A group of organs that work together to perform a certain task (job). Examples: Skeletal, Muscular, Digestive) |
