Single Celled Organism An organism that only has one cell
Bacteria A single celled organism without an organized nucleus.
Cell The basic unit of all living things
Cell Membrane The boundary the surrounds a cell and controls which substances can enter or leave the cell
Cell Nucleus An organelle in a cell that holds the cells DNA
Cytoplasm The liquid inside of a living cell
Micro Organism An organism that is too small to see with your eyes
Organism Any individual thing
Chloroplasts An organelle in a plant cell that turns energy from the sun into chemical energy for the plant to use
Paramecium A single celled organism that is found in pond water. It looks like a grain of rice
