QuestionAnswer
Arthropod Invertebrates that have an external skeleton, a segmented body, and appendages.
Exoskeleton A waxy, waterproof covering or outer skeleton.
Molting The process of shedding an outgrown exoskeleton.
Antenna An appendage attached to the head that contains sense organs.
Crustacean An arthropod that has two or three body sections, five or more pairs of legs, and has two pairs of antennae.
Metamorphasis A process in which an animal's body goes under dramatic changes in form during its life cycle.
Arachnids Arthropods with two body sections, four pairs of legs, and no antennae.
Abdomen The hind section.
