these are the words that we will use duing solar system unit

star a large,hot ball of glowing gases
tilt to lean or slant (how earth is positioned on it's axis)
orbit the path of an object as it travels around another object
moon Earth natural satellite,and the object in the night sky that appears to be the largest
telescope a tool used to get a closer look at a far away object
universe everything that exists on earth and space
planet a large, round object made of rock or gas that orbits around the sun
revolve to move around another object (like the planets move around the sun)
rotate to spin on an axis (like earth does)
solar energy radition, light, and heat from the sun
