Mantle | Second layer of the earth,it surround the core has a thickness of 2,900 km. |
Crust | It is composed of basalt-rich oceanic crust and granitic rich continental crust |
Inner Core | The final layer of the Earth, 780 miles thick and reaches a temperature of 3,000-5,000 Kelvin! |
Outer Core | The third layer of the Earth, this layer represents about 4% of the Earth’s mass measuring 125-188 miles thick, responsible for creating the Earth’s magnetic field. |
Humus | made up of rotting plant parts, such as leaves, fruits and small animal remains. |
