ocean currents

QuestionAnswer
what is a current? a river of water running through the ocean.
what are ocean currents caused by? winds and the amount of salt in the water.
Thermohaline currents are what kind of currents? warm and salty currents.
why are rivers and lakes not salty? the salt and minerals in the water flow to the ocean.
what is the most powerful ocean current and where is it found? the gulf stream, the Atlantic ocean.
what is sea level? the level of the seas surface.
why does earth have light? the only known planet with oceans.
is salty water heavier/lighter than not salty water? salty water is heavier.
