igneous rocks

Cementation is the process in which sediments are glued to gether by minerals that are deposited by water.
Chemical sedimentary rock forms when the ions from dissolved minerals precipitate out of water because of changing concentrations of chemicals
Organic sedimentary rock is rock that forms from the remains of living things.
Clastic sedimentary rock over time, the individual fragments may become compacted and cemented into solid rock. The rock formed from these deposits is called.
Sorting the tendency for currents of air or water to seperate sediments according to size.
angularity As sediment is transported from its source to where it is deposited, the particles collide with each other and with other object in there path.

Ripple marks are caused by the action of wind or water on sand
Mud cracks forms when muddy deposits dry and shrink
Concretions sedimentary rocks sometimes contain lumps of rock that have a composition that is different from that of the main rock body. Those lumps are known as concretions.
