Chemical sedimentary rock | Form by precipitation of minerals from water |
Organic sedimentary rock | Form from the accumulation and lithification of organic debris like leaves, roots and other animal or plant material |
Clastic sedimentary rock | Clast of fragment of geological detritus, chunks and smaller grains of rock broken off other rocks by physical weathering |
Sorting | Arranging systematically into groups |
Angularity | The quality of being angular |
