| Homeostasis | The process of your body's internal environment keeping stable in spite of changes in the external environment. |
| Circulatory System | Carries needed substances to cells and carries waste products away from the cells. |
| Digestive System | The system that breaks down food into molecules the body can use. The molecules are then absorbed into the blood and carried throughout the body. |
| Muscular System | The system of body tissues that contract or shorten, making body parts move. |
| Respiratory System | The system that moves oxygen from the outside environment into the body and removes carbon dioxide from the body. |
| Nervous System | The system that receives information about your environment and process it. It directs the way your body responds to stimuli and helps maintain homeostasis. |
| Skeletal System | The system that provides shape and support, enables you to move and protects your internal organs. |
