revolution earth's orbit around the sun which causes seasons
year a year is earth's full orbit around the sun which takes 365 days
season is the weather pattern between earths part's of region (winter/spring/summer/fall)
equinox is the two time periods where in fall and spring days have a equal length
solstice is the to time periods where in the summer days are longer and in the winter days are shorter
