| Experiment | is the use of scientific methods to test your hypothesis |
| Variable | is something that can control |
| Control group | the group that DOESN'T get special treat meant |
| Procedures | are step-by-step instructions for completing a task |
| Data | are information from which a conclusion can be drawn or a prediction can be made |
| Precision | is the ability to consistently repeat a measurement |
| Accuracy | is the ability to make a measurement that is as close to the actual value as possible |
| Inference | is a conclusion based on observations |
| Evidence | are observations that make you believe that something is true |
| Independent variable | is one that you can control the I contol |
| Dependent variable | changes when an independent variable changes, it is what gets measured, gives you data |
| Models | object or ideas that represent other things |
| Survey | Questions that are answered by people.Great for option questions. |
| Sampling | examining random individuals from a population. |
