What is a virus? A strand of hereditary material surrounded by a protein covering
What is a host cell? A living cell in which a virus can actively multiply or in which a virus can hide by environmental stimuli
What are some examples of viruses? Cold sores, measles, chicken pox, cold, flu, AIDS
