10.What do humans use bacteria for? Cheese, yogurt, sour cream, buttermilk, drugs, digest petroleum
11.What is a capsid? The protein coat that surrounds the RNA/DNA of a virus (the head)
12.What is a pathogen? A virus or bacteria that causes disease
13.What is a virus? What is it made of? Made up of nucleic acids, proteins, and some lipids
14.What is nitrogen fixation? The process in which bacteria converts nitrogen into a form plants can use.
15.What is the main, distinguishing feature of a prokaryote? Single celled organisms without a nucleus
