| What are the three major traits of an arthropod? | They have jointed legs. They have a body with two or three sections. Also, they have an exoskeleton. |
| What is an exoskeleton? | It is a hard outer covering. |
| What is the function of an exoskeleton? | Its job is to protects and supports the animal. |

| What is the largest groups of arthropods? | Butterflies and Ants |
| What are the three major traits of butterflies and ants? | They have six legs, and three body sections. They may or may not have wings. |
| What are the two major traits of centipedes and millipedes? | They have segmented bodies. They can have one pair of legs on each segment or two pairs of legs on each segment. |
| What is one major difference between a centipede and a millipede? | The amount of legs they have on each segment. The centipede has 1 pair of legs on each segment. The millipede has 2 pairs of legs on each segment. |
