What type of energy do windmills create? Wind Energy.
What are the risks of mining? Ecosystems damaged, surface disturbance, and pollution.
What is antipollution? Antipollution is designed to prevent or reduce environmental pollution.
Will nonrenewable sources run out? Yes.
Why do dams have limited lifetimes? Sediment buildup in the resevoir.
Will renewable sources run out? No.
What is the careful use of resources? Conservation.
Is coal a fossil fuel? Yes.
Why is freshwater a vital resource? Because you can't drink polluted water or salt water.
What are three things you can do to save energy? Recycle, let the sunlight go through windows, get a lime green smart car.
How does nuclear fission work? In nuclear fission, the nuclei of heavy atoms such as uranium-235 are bombarded with neutrons. The uranium nuclei then split into smaller nuclei and emit neutrons and heat energy.
Why should you get solar panels for your house? Because they look cool and they save energy and stuff.
Why is Los Angeles's air quality so bad? Because over 3.884 million people live there and they ALL drive non-electric cars, and there is lots of traffic.
What is geothermal energy? Heat energy from the Earth's interior.
What is tidal power? Were you use the energy from the waves to make POWER!!!!!!
What is point-source pollution? Pollution that comes from a known source.
What is global warming? It is when too much carbon dioxide is too much in the earth's atmosphere and polar ice caps melt, causing the flooding of Hawaii and coastal areas.
What type of car doesnt spit out carbon dioxide and looks cool? A lime green smart car with a liscence plate thay says "GRNFLSH".
What does earth's land provide? Soil, forests, minerals, and energy resources.
