Cycle a unit of motion that repeats over and over
Frequency the number of cycles an oscillator makes per second
Amplitude the maximum distance from the advantage in harmonic motion;often distance or an an angle
Period the time for one cycle
Oscillator a system that shows harmonic motion
Harmonic Motion motion that repeats its self
Hertz a unit of one cycle per second used to measure frequency; the abbreviation is Hz
Phase refers to where an oscillator is in its cycle

Damping a word that describes the gradual loss of amplitude of an oscillator
