Relate three properties of sound to everyday experiences

TermDefinition
Sound waves that transmit disturbances produced by vibrating objects.
Vibrations rapid, back-and-forth movements of particles.
Pitch a measure of how or low a sound is perceived to be, depending on the frequency of the sound wave.
Frequency the number of waves produced in a given amount of time.
Wavelength the distance from any point on a wave to an identical point on the next wave.
Cochlea a spiraled, hallow chamber of bone within the ear.
