Plant Processes

QuestionAnswer
Photosynthesis The food making process in plants using sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide.
Respiration The process of using oxygen to breakdown glucose to release usable energy.
Transpiration The process were plants are releasing water though stomata.
Producers A living thing that makes it's own food from air, sunlight, and soil. Green plants are this who make food in their leaves.
Consumer A living thing that can't make it's own food. They get their energy by eating food.
Decomposer A living thing that gets energy by breaking down dead plants and animals.
Predator An animal that hunts and eats another animal.
Prey An animal that is hunted and eaten.
Herbivore A consumer that eats only plants.
Carnivore A consumer that eats only animals.
Omnivore A consumer that eats both plants and animals.
