Photosynthesis the way that green plants make food
a tropism is a change in growth of a plant in response to a stimulus
photosynthesis changes light energy into chemical energy
plants get carbon dioxide from the air
openings called stomata are found on plants

most photosynthesis takes place in leaves
chlorophyll is a green chemical used by plants in photosynthesis
why are plant leaves covered with foil so as they cannot photosynthesise and they use up all the starch which is present
when testing a leaf for starch why is the leaf dipped into boiling water this kills and softens the leaf
why are leaves soaked in alcohol to remove the chlorophyll
why are leaves dipped into boiling water after chlorophyll is removed to wash off the alcohol and to soften the leaf
if leaves have starch iodine changes from brown yellow to blue black
Phototropism is the growth of a plant towards light
geotropism is the response of a plant to gravity
roots of a plant grow towards gravity
