| Acid Rain | Causes weathering by dissolving minerals in rocks |
| Rust | Iron minerals in the rocks mix with water and oxygen to form rust |

| Erosion | Weathered rock particles are moved |
| Fossils | Trace, remains, or evidence, of living things |
| Sedimentary rocks | Where most fossils are found |
| Mold Fossils | A layer of sediment covers the organism, impression |
