| BIOSPHERE | The layer around the planet in which all life exists. |
| GEOSPHERE | Is a part of the biosphere occupied by earth. |
| ATMOSPHERE | Is a part of the biosphere occupied by air. |
| HYDROSPHERE | The part of the biosphere occupied by water. |
| TECTONIC PLATES | Are the structures on which continents and oceans rest. |
| WEATHER | Is what the conditions of the atmosphere are like over a short period of time. |
| CLIMATE | Is how the atmosphere behaves over a long period of time. |
| CONTINENTAL CRUST | Is the crust underlying the continents. |
| OCEANIC CRUST | Is the crust underlying the oceans. |
| VOLCANO | Is a hole or vent in the earths crust where molten rock, gases and ash are erupted. |
| EARTHQUAKE | Vibration of earth caused by a sudden release of energy. |
| MAGMA | Molten rock that has solidified on the earth’s surface. |
| LAVA | Molten rock formed when rocks of the mantle or crust melt. |
| FAULTLINE | It is a break in the rocks of the earth’s crust. |
