| What is a stem? | the plant part that holds up the leaves and carries water and nutrients through the plant |
| What are netted veins? | veins that branch out from main veins |
| What is a vein? | A tube that carries food, water, and nutrients throughout a leaf. |
| What are parallel veins? | Veins that run in straight lines next to each other. |
| What does classify mean? | To sort things into groups based on their characteristics. |
| What is a leaf margin? | The shape of the leaf's outer edge. For example, smooth or jagged. |
| What is an environment? | Everything that surrounds and affects a living thing. |
| What does reproduce mean? | It means to make new living things the same kind. |
