What does the lighted candle symbolize? That Jesus will guide the new Catholics.
What does the Chrism symbolize? Our responsibility to carry out Jesus's work,
What does the white garment symbolize? Putting on a new life with Christ.
What does the water symbolize? New life in God's grace.
What does the laying of the hands symbolize? That the person being confirmed is being strengthened with the Holy Spirit.
What are the Sacraments of Christian Initiation? Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation.
What did Dorothy Day do? She started the Catholic Worker Movement.
