Law of universal gravitation Newton's law of universal gravitation states that every point mass in the universe attracts every other point mass with a force that is directly proportional
Gravity the force that attracts a body toward the center of the earth, or toward any other physical body having mass.
Orbit the curved path of a celestial object or spacecraft around a star, planet, or moon, especially a periodic elliptical revolution.
Aphelion the point in the orbit of a planet, asteroid, or comet at which it is furthest from the sun
Perihelion the point in the orbit of a planet, asteroid, or comet at which it is closest to the sun.
Solar Nebula A rotating cloud of gas and dust from which sun and planets formed
Centripetal moving or tending to move toward a center.
