Science Flashcards

TermDefinition
Interphase 1st step. Chromosomes are copied.
Phrophase Prepare. The cell prepares for mitosis.
Metaphase Middle. The chromosomes meet in the middle of the cell.
Anaphase Apart. The chromosomes draw apart to opposite sides of the cell.
Telophase Two. The stage where two new nuclei are formed in one cell.
Cytokinesis Cytoplasm. The cytoplasm divides in two to make two new daughter cells.
