What does it mean to boil something? | To turn a liquid into a gas by gaining heat and making particles move faster. Example: Example: Boiling water for pasta. |
What does it mean for something to be under sublimation? | To turn a solid into a gas by gaining heat and making particles move faster. Example: Dry ice. |
What does it mean for something to be under condensation? | To turn a gas into a liquid by losing heat and making particles move slower. Example: Getting water on the outside of your lemonade cup. |
