Elliptical Relating to or having the shape of an ellipse
Geocentric Describes something that uses Earth as the reference point
Gravitational Force An interaction between particles or bodies resulting from their mass
Heliocentric Sun-centered
Moon The earth's natural satellite, orbiting the earth at a mean distance of 238,857 miles (384,393 km) and having a diameter of 2160 miles (3476 km)
Orbit The path that a body follows as it travels around another body in space
Planet A relatively large spherical body that orbits a star
Solar System The sun and all of the planets and other bodies that travels around it
Parallax An apparent shift in the position of an object when viewed from different locations
