Atoms The smallest thing in the world. Everything is made of it.
Proton The + charged part in an atom
Neutron The part of an atom that has no charge
Electron The - charged part in an atom
Ion An atom where the total number of protons ISNT equal to the number of electrons making in either negatively or positively charged.
Compound Combination of two or more elements
Molecule Neutral group of two or more atoms
Ionic bond Atoms losing or gaining electrons to combine
Covalent bond Sharing electron pairs between atoms
Isotopes Elements that have the same number of protons in an atom but different number of neutrons in them.
Radio Activity Nucleus of an unstable atom loses energy by emitting ionizing radiation
