Water Cycle

Water Cycle A process by which water is circulated through the ecosphere.
Evaporation The process of changing from a solid or liquid state to a vapor or gas.
Transpiration The process by which moisture is carried through plants from the roots to the leaves where it canoes to vapor and escapes to the atmosphere through the leaf opening.
Infiltration The process by which water on the ground surfaces enters the soil.
Condensation The process of water vapor returning to its liquid state as temperatures cool.
Run Off Precipitation that did not get absorbed into the soil, or did not evaporate.
Leaching To be dissolved or passed out by a liquid
