Maritime Polar Air Mass An air mass that forms over cold oceans or moist areas.
Maritime Tropical Air Mass An air mass that forms over a warm ocean or moist area.
Continental Polar Air Mass An air mass that forms over cold land.
Continental Tropical Air Mass An air mass that forms over warm land.
Air mass A body of air with uniform temperature, humidity, and pressure.
Weather The state of the atmosphere at certain time and place.
Warm front The boundary of an advancing warm air mass.
Cold front The boundary of an advancing cool air mass.
Front The forward edge of an advancing air mass.
Stationary Front The boundary between two air masses where neither air masses are strong enough to displace on another.
Occluded front A composite front produced by occlusion.
Anticyclone A weather system with high pressure at it's center around which, air slowly circulates.
