steroid hormone produced by outer secretion of the adrenal cortex in the adrenal gland aldosterone
acts as an endocrine, autocrine/paracine & intracrine hormone angiotension II (ARB's)
used to treat conditions such as high bp & heart failure angiotensionII receptor blockers
most commonly used in treatment of hypertention, usually in conjunction with diuretics when other treatments are ineffective {used in treatment of several conditons such as raynaud's disease, hypertension & sclerodema.)
