What are the characteristics of a liquid? A liquid has no definite shape but has definite volume.
What are the characteristics of a gas? A gas has no definite shape or volume
What mostly affects a substance's state of matter? Temperature

What is the definition of a contact force? A force that occurs when objects touch each other.
