| Weather | The state of the atmosphere with respect to wind, temperature, cloudiness, moisture, pressure, etc. |
| Air Mass | A huge body of air that has a similar temperature, humidity, and air pressure at any given height. |
| Maritime Tropical Air Mass | Warm air mass that happens over oceans. |
| Maritime Polar Air Mass | Cool air mass that happens over oceans. |
| Continental Tropical Air Mass | Warm air mass that happens over land |
| Continental Polar Air Mass | Cool air mass that happens over land` |
| Cyclone | A big, rotating, wind and rain storm in the Indian Ocean or off the coast of Australia Low pressure |
| Anti Cyclone | A big, rotating, wind and rain storm in the Indian Ocean or off the coast of Australia that moves counterclockwise High pressure |
| Occluded Front | A warm front that is cut off from the ground |
| Cold Front | When cold air moves underneath warm air |
| Warm Front | When warm air moves over cold air |
| Stationary Front | When cold and warm air masses meet but neither one has enough force to move the other |
| Front | The boundery where air masses meet |
