mass is the amount of matter in an object
matter anything that takes up space has weight and is made up of molecules and atoms form of solid liquid and gas
quantitive properties when a property includes numbers and can be measured
qualitative proporties are properties that cant be observed- cannot be recorded numerically
precision refers to how close together a group of measurements actually are to each other
accuracy refers to how close the measurement value is to the true or accepted value
weight is the amount of force (push or pull) with which gravity pulls down on an object -how far you are from the center -the mass of the object -the earths mass (your mass)
volume the amount of space a material takes up
adhesion that holds together molecules of unlike substances w/closeness
cohesion force by which like molecules are held together (like a team)
