| Apparent Magnitude | The brightness of a star as seen from Earth |
| Luminosity | The actual brightness of an object such as a star |
| Absolute Magnitude | A measure of how bright a star would be if it was seen from a standard distance |
| Nebula | A cloud of gas and dust in outer space, visible in the night sky either as an indistinct bright patch or as a dark silhouette against other luminous matter |
| Nuclear Energy | The energy released during nuclear fission or fusion, especially when used to generate electricity |
| Super Nova | A stellar explosion that is more energetic than a nova |
