Power The rate at which work is done.
Work Any time you use force to make an object move.
Energy When you do work object you transfer energy into it.
Kinetic energy The energy an object has due to it’s motion.
Potential Energy Energy that results from the position or shape of an object.
Gravitational Potential Energy Potential energy related to an object’s height.
Elastic Potential Energy The energy associated with objects that can be compressed or stretched.
Mechanical The form of energy associated with the motion, position, or shape.
Sound A disturbance that travels through a medium wave.
Nuclear A type of potential energy that is stored in the nucleus in a atom.
Thermal The total kinetic and potential energy stored of the particles.
Electromagnetic A form of energy that travels through space in waves.
Chemical Potential energy stored in a chemical bond.
