Pernicious Anemia Most common Colalamin anemia. It is a disease in which the gastric mucose is not secfeting IF because of antibodies beign directed against the gastric parietal cells and/or IF its self
IF intrinsic factor, secreted by the parietal cells of the gastric mucosa.
IF is required for Cobalamin absorbtion
Cobalamin is vitamin B12
