Earth's Spheres

| Earth Science | The system consists land, oceans, atmosphere and poles. |
| Atmosphere | A mixture of gases that surrounds a planet, moon, or other celestial body. |
| Geospheres | The mostly solid, rocky part of earth; extends from the center of the care to the center of the crust |
| Hydrosphere | The portion of the earth that is water. |
| Cryosphere | One of earth's spheres where water is in solid form, including snow cover, floating ice, glaciers, ice caps,ice sheets, frozen ground permafrost. |
| Biosphere | The part of the earth where life exists; includes all of the living organisms on earth. |
| Lithosphere | The solid, outer layer of earth that consists of the crust and the rigid upper part of the mantle. |
