metamorphic a rock that is formed by heat and pressure
rock layer's ages a layer at the bottom is oldest and the one at the top is youngest
W-E-D-C-C weathering, erosion ,deposition ,compaction ,and cementation
weathering rocks are loosened and/or turned into sediment
erosion the sediment and/or tiny rocks are washed or blown away
deposition the sediment is placed down and stacked up
compaction the sediment is compacted together
cementation the sediment is glued together and turned into rock
