| Endothermic Change | A change when energy is taken in. (gets colder) |
| Exothermic Change | A change in which energy is given off. |
| Heterogeneos Mixture | A mixture in which pure substances are unevenly distributed throughout the mixture. |
| Homogeneous Mixture | A mixture in which pure substances are evenly distributed throughout the mixture. |

| Compound | A pure substance made of two or more elements chemically combined. |
