Determining Rocks

Extrusion (lava layers) Always younger than layers below them
Intrusion Always younger than the layers they CUT through
Superposition Relative ages of rock (no numbers)
Fault (EQ) Break in rock *Always younger than the rock it breaks*
Horizontal Rocks The layers in the rock are horizontal until a force pushes them some other way
