Scientific Method

QuestionAnswer
Variable The factor that is changed in the experiment.
Constants The factors that stay the same.
Problem/Question The question or problem the scientist is trying to figure out.
Hypothesis An educated guess a scientist makes.
Observation/Research A scientist gathers information about their topic.
Experiment We are testing our hypothesis
Collect and Analyze Data This is were you collect and analyze the data you found
Conclusion You figure out what went wrong
Comunicate the results They talk about it with other scientist
Procedure The experiments directions.
Dependent Variable The variable may change as a result of your experiment.
Independent Variable This variable changes in your experiment.
Conclusion The part of an experiment where the major findings and results are summarized.
Control The control is the group or thing that you compare your results to.
