TermDefinition
Hypothesis An educated guess about the outcome of your experiment
Procedure The step by step instructions that tell how an experiment is done.
Variable The factor that is changed in an experiment.
Dependent variable The variable that may change when you change something in an experiment.
Independent variable The variable in an experiment that you purposefully change.
Control The group or thing to which you compare the results of the experiment.
Constants All the factors in an experiment that stay the same.
Conclusion The major findings and results of the experiment are summarized there.
