Scientific Method Processes that scientists follow to study the natural world.

Hypothesis Assumption about what will happen during an experiment based on reason and experience. "Educated guess"
Control Group in experiment that variable does not change; used to compare experimental group to.
Experimental Group Group where variable has changed.
Independent Variable Variable that is changed or manipulated to see if change has an effect.
Depended Variable Variable that is measured at conclusion of experiment; dependent on changes on independent variable
